Rockefeller Center Tree Arrives In NYC

The famed Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is up! Donated by Neil Lebowitz and his family in Glens Falls in upstate New York, the 82-foot-tall Norway Spruce was cut down Saturday morning and installed at Rock Center the same day It’ll soon be dressed with 50-thousand lights and topped with e Swarovski crystal star. The tree will be lit November 30th – and after that, the lights will be lit every day from 6am to 12midnight…except for Christmas – when it’ll be lit for a full 24 hours. After that – once the season ends – the tree will be milled into lumber and donated to Habitat for Humanity.)
