Tom Brady Opens Up About First Post-Divorce Christmas

Newly divorced parents know: the holidays land a little differently after the split - especially if there are kids involved.

Tom Brady is now part of that tribe. The NFL legend divorced model Gisele Bündchen back in October - and the two share two kids, 13-year-old Benjamin and 10-year-old Vivian. So instead of the family getting up first thing Christmas morning and heading to the tree like happens in most households, Tom will be spending Christmas morning by himself, with only room service to keep him company.

On his "Let's Go!" podcast Monday, Tom said, "I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional,” he said when asked what he “learned from this football season.”

“It’ll be a new experience that I’ve never had before that I’m gonna learn how to deal with …" Tom's team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be across the country playing Arizona Sunday night - after which he plans to jet back to the East Coast to spend the next day opening presents with the kids, which Tom explains, "is... just part of what football season has been for a long time.”
