Parker McCollum Shares Glimpse Of His Family Ranch In East Texas

Parker McCollum had an “absolutely wild” time filming the music video for his latest single, “Handle On You,” a heartbreak anthem previously described as a “woeful track about reeling from a doomed relationship captures the all-too relatable emotions of grappling with trying to let go of someone you loved.”

McCollum’s latest music video is one that was filmed with “no stunt men, no special effects. Just honest and real,” he said as it premiered on Friday (February 3). 

“Shot half of the video at a sold out show in my hometown - 20,000 people at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (in Woodlands, Texas). Shot the other half at our Family Ranch in East Texas,” McCollum said in a statement on Friday. “Seemed like the perfect opportunity to get to come home and showcase, on-camera, the place I love the most while doing what I love to do the most. I love this song and wrote it with my buddy Monty Chriswell and I feel like we really kind of went in a different direction with it from my other songs. Putting this thing on film and giving the viewers a look into my life at home and on the road was an important visual for me to have to go along with the track. So, in short, I love every bit of it and hope the fans dig it.”

The “Handle On You” video premiere comes as McCollum kicks off his headlining tour. The first show of the spring leg of the tour took place Thursday (February 2) in Columbus, Ohio. McCollum previously announced summer headlining dates, and is set to join Morgan Wallen on the “You Proof” artist’s world tour this year.
