Tim McGraw covered Shania Twain's hit ballad "You're Still the One" and shared it on Instagram this weekend! Shania Twain recently released her new album "Queen of Me", but McGraw was focused on the classics from her hits from 1998.
"@bobminner and I had some fun covering this @shaniatwain classic a few weeks ago. Always been a big fan... can’t wait to listen to the new album!! #shaniatwain,” McGraw captioned his post. “You’re Still the One” was number one on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart and peaked at number two across all genres in 1998.
Tim's cover received praise from Shania, who commented that it was "Gorgeous!!", and Octavia Spencer also chimed in, asking for them to record a duet cover together. Perhaps the two will see if they can make the classic hit the charts one more time in 2023.
