Dolly Parton and Keith Urban, along with other famous stars like Mariah Carey, Elton John, and Pink, paid tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John this weekend. In a video compilation played during her state memorial service yesterday, the stars shared their favorite memories & love for Newton-John.
Parton and Urban both shared memories and expressed their love for Newton-John, with Parton also addressing the people of Australia in her speech. "I had the honor of singing with her several times and I considered her a great friend, as well as a fellow entertainer. And Olivia, to quote one of your songs, 'I Honestly Love You.' Thank you for shining your light on us,” Parton shared.
The service was open to the public and live-streamed, and included speeches from Newton-John's husband and daughter, as well as Delta Goodrem who played the late star in a biopic. Newton-John passed away in August last year, after a battling breast cancer. Rest in piece.
