Kenny Chesney was at CRS ("Country Radio Seminar") last week and updated folks on where he was at in regards to new music.
He said his new album is "nearly halfway finished," and that it was an important one for him. "The next record is important — they are all important. No matter who you are or where you're at in your career arc, every album is important. You want somebody to do something, you want somebody to be happy, you want somebody to chase their own dreams because of your music."
The album will be Kenny's first since 2020's "Here and Now" - and there's a chance fans that see Kenny on tour this year will get a glimpse at some new music. He even has his first radio single in mind - but he's not telling what it is because, he says, with the album halfway done he's still trying to come up with an even better song to lead out with.
