Scientists have successfully used robots to capture footage of fish and creatures deeper than ever before. The effort, a collaboration between the Australians and Japanese, recorded video of a snailfish more than 27-thousand feet below the surface of the Pacific. That's more than five miles down. The team used unmanned vessels with bait to capture the images of the specimens.
