Oscar Mayer Turns The Wienermobile Into A Vegas Wedding Chapel

Not everyone dreams of getting married in a church or on a beach, some couples are looking for something more unique and Oscar Mayer has a perfect idea for them. The company is sending its iconic Wienermobile to Las Vegas - the unofficial quickie wedding capital of the world - where it will transform into a limited-time wedding chapel.

There are actually a fleet of six Wienermobiles that travel around the country and the one going to Vegas will become the “Wienermobile of Love” and will offer couples an all-expenses paid wedding, complete with hot dogs, of course. According to Oscar Mayer, they get thousands of requests every year to have the Wienermobile come to surprise proposals and weddings, so they’re giving fans what they want for the first time in the Wienermobile’s 87-year existence.

The weddings will all take place at the Wienermobile of Love parked outside the iconic Little White Chapel in Vegas on April 15th and 16th.

  • The wedding will include hot dog-forward details like the live Wiener Whistle Quartet, a “wonderfully off” wiener cake, photo ops, and a pun-filled ceremony, if couples choose.
  • All ceremonies will be officiated by Oscar Mayer’s Hotdoggers, the official spokespeople of the Wienermobile who travel in pairs on a “coast-to-coast wiener roast” year-long tour.
  • Any couples who want to try for the opportunity to get hitched in front of a giant hot dog on wheels can sign up at the website now and will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
