PBS' "National Memorial Day Concert" Features Trace Adkins & Jo Dee Messina

With Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, PBS is once again putting on their annual "National Memorial Day Concert" on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The event, which has been held for over thirty years, has been a celebration of national pride and a memorial to those that gave their lives while in uniform.

Celebrities and musicians have been central to the celebration over the years, and this year is no different. Gary SiniseJoe MantegnaDulé Hill and more will be on hand, as well as musical performers Trace AdkinsJo Dee MessinaWar And TreatyYolanda Adams, the National Symphony Orchestra, The US Army Chorus, The US Air Force Singing Sergeants, the US Navy Sea Band Chanters and more.

The "National Memorial Day Concert" on PBS premieres this Sunday, with most stations airing the concert at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT and repeating the program at 9:30 p.m. ET. Check your local listings.
