For a company to be successful, they have to attract new customers, but retaining their existing customers is even more important. A new report from DesignRush reveals the brands that have the most loyal customers in the U.S.
- The firm’s “Customer Loyalty Index” evaluates Fortune 100 companies across six metrics: company finances, average rating and volume of customer reviews, social media following and engagement, customer service-related Google searches, popularity ratings from market research firm YouGov, and net promoter score (NPS), which is based on how likely a customer is to recommend a brand or service to their friends.
- Topping the list this year is Alphabet, which is Google’s parent company.
- The tech giant’s spot at number one is thanks to their NPS, customer reviews and YouGov ratings. The report notes, “Google’s average customer review is 3.1 stars, the second-highest among the Fortune 100. Over half of its 6-thousand-plus reviews are five stars.”
- Lowe’s comes in second, and leads all companies in YouGov ratings with a 75% popularity score.
