Multiple pools near the South Jersey shore, including one at a Quality Inn Motel, have been terrorized all summer by a drone dropping neon green dye into the water. Patrick Spina IV, 45, was arrested Monday in Absecon, New Jersey after allegedly being behind the drone that has ruined many peoples’ summers. Police, who’ve been working with the FAA, spotted the drone flying on September 1st, tracking it to Spina’s office at the Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling company. Spina was booked on multiple counts of criminal mischief but has been released with upcoming court proceedings. He also may face fines of more than $30,000 and will likely have his drone certification taken away.
