Dozens of ducks have decided to make a backyard swimming pool their home. A family in Apple Valley, in Southern California, believes they know why the feathered friends decided to stop by and stay. Homeowner Bob Blakey says “We feed a lot of wild birds here and stuff, so they may have partly come because of the bird seed we tossed on the lawn. There are ducks of all sizes and temperaments.” He says they get other unusual birds in their backyard as well. Recently they've been visited by turkey vultures. The ballpark count on the ducks is around 30 to 40.
