Hair samples from three former U.S. Presidents are heading to deep space. The samples from John F. Kennedy, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and George Washington will be on board a rocket launched by Celestis early next year. The company specializes in sending remains and DNA to outer space, claiming off-world storage preserves the samples for thousands of years without degradation. Celestis says the DNA of late presidents could help people in the future learn more about U.S. history if and when they find the rocket.
