The number of couples tying the knot in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve may hit a record high this year. The holiday is already a popular day for weddings, but December 31st, 2023 is also a “specialty date” as it’s known in the wedding industry, thanks to its repeating 1-2-3-1-2-3 pattern. These specialty patterns are always incredibly popular, but to break the single-day record for marriages in Las Vegas, there will have to be more than 4,492, which was set on July 7th, 2007, or 7-07-07.
