Disney spilled a lot of tea this week, and one nugget will make people jump for joy. Another "Toy Story" movie is in the works. Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed yesterday that a fifth entry in the Pixar franchise had received the green light and was in early development. Iger said during Disney's quarterly earnings call that "Toy Story 5" will be released in 2026, but did not give details on the plot or who the cast members will be, though it's likely that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will return as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Other animated sequels announced include Frozen 3, to be released in 2026, and Zootopia 2, which comes out in 2025.
