It looks like the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has returned to Instagram. Sort of. The royal hit delete on all of her social media profiles (and her 3-million followers) in 2017 when she started dating Prince Harry.
A new account popped up yesterday, but this one seems to be a "new Lifestyle Brand” named “American Riviera Orchard.” “By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024,” reads the bio for the account, with a first post that spotlights Markle cooking and picking flowers. The company announced it’ll be selling tableware, drinkware, “edible treats” and more.
“People” thinks the name comes from the nickname for Santa Barbara, California where the estranged royals live with children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. “Montecito” also appears in the post… which is the neighborhood in which the family lives.
