The story of “The Muppets” creator Jim Henson is about to be told. “Jim Henson: Idea Man” is directed by Ron Howard and will premiere on Disney+ May 31st. The film uses personal archives to share how Henson went from puppeteering on local television to the creation of Sesame Street and The Muppets. Henson was 53-years-old when he died of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome, likely caused by untreated strep throat, in 1990.
