Apparently, it runs in the family. Louisiana State sophomore Timothy Wayne has signed his first record deal. "I’m so excited to have this opportunity to make and record music with UMG Nashville,” Wayne said. "This has been a dream of mine, and I am working hard on music that I can’t wait to share with everyone." So where does that talent come from, that earned him a record deal? Wayne is the nephew of a performer you may have heard of - Tim McGraw. While no one's saying Tim was the reason Wayne got the record deal, there's no denying McGraw is helping the young singer; he's opened for Uncle Tim on several dates on Tim's current tour, and Tim posted a pic of Wayne in the studio on his own Instagram, captioning a picture of the young singer, "Working in the studio with my nephew @timothywaynemusic." It'll be interesting to hear how much - or how little - Wayne sounds like McGraw.
