Chloe Miller went through a stressful experience when her Australian Shepherd, Charlie, swallowed her uninsured engagement diamond. "I had been gone for eight hours prepping for a big exam," Chloe noted, explaining she had left the ring on her bedside table. After realizing the ring was missing, panic set in.
Chloe discovered that Charlie had chewed the ring and likely ingested the diamond. "She does not chew up anything else except jewelry," she remarked. While worried about Charlie's health, Chloe and her now-husband searched everywhere and kept a close eye on the dog. Fortunately, two days later, her fiancé found the diamond in Charlie’s poop.
Of course, she documented everything on TikTok, which is how this story got out. "We still joke about it with friends and family and even brought it up at the wedding," Chloe shared, adding that they now see the funny side of the event which became a memorable part of their love story.
