Many people are intimidated to approach law enforcement, but leave it to a child to break the ice.
A four-year-old girl named Lillian recently headed to dinner with her family at Panera Bread in Massachusetts. She and her father exchanged a few words with a police officer also eating there on his dinner break.
Minutes into her meal, Lillian couldn’t help but notice the officer, Sgt. Steven Dearth of the Hingham Police Department, sitting all by himself. Steve was about to learn that Lillian is not only adorable, but she’s also incredibly outgoing.
