Boy’s Tie Comes Undone, Then State Trooper Walks Up Behind Him To Help

Small acts of kindness can make such a huge difference in the lives of complete strangers.

And in the case of one 13-year-old boy, that small act came from an Indiana state trooper named Sgt. Don Gregory.

Young X’zavier had ventured all the way to the Indiana State House to receive a “Youth of the Year” award — an impressive accomplishment in the boy’s life.

Unfortunately, while he wanted to look his best that day, his tie came undone before he was set to receive the honor and be photographed.

And, like many kids his age, X’zavier had no idea how to tie it himself. His mom and aunt, who were also in attendance, didn’t know how to tie it, either.

Luckily for X’zavier, Sgt. Don was standing by and willing to lend a helping hand — and it was all captured on camera.
