It’s generally safe to say that, even in a litter of variously colored puppies, a puppy being born with green fur is extremely rare! Have you ever heard of a green puppy? It sounds like something from a Dr. Seuss book. Very few people have witnessed this phenomenon that does, in fact, exist.
Elaine Cooper and her husband, Mark, were among the few when their chocolate Labrador, Milly, gave birth to her puppies. The one female in the litter stood out from her four brothers in more ways than one. Not only was she the only female puppy, but she had green fur! This green little pup is rumored to be the third documented case in the world.
