Getting into college is a huge milestone in anyone’s life, but it is especially for high school senior Patrick Eriom.
The teen and his family moved to the United States from Nigeria seven years ago, and he’s always dreamed of going to college. As the time to start thinking about applying to schools drew nearer, Patrick selected his top choice: Baylor University.
The only problem was that Baylor was the only place he decided to apply. In his heart, he believed that it was “Baylor or nothing” when it came to achieving his dream of becoming a doctor.
When the school’s response arrived in the mail, his family caught his emotional reaction on camera.
