The plot for season 2 of "Stranger Things" is here!

After becoming an award winning hit in its first season, expectations are high for round two of "Stranger Things"!  Entertainment Weekly has gotten some details on what we can expect in season two, which includes new characters, new romances, and the same old Upside Down.

Here's what they say . . .

Winona Ryder's Joyce is working on stabilizing life for her sons while romancing an old high school classmate, Bob, played by Sean Austin. “She’s trying to mask a lot,” Winona explains. “I think she’s made this choice with Bob because she wants a good father figure in her sons’ lives.”  The other grownup in town, Officer Hopper now has to be the voice of authority, which leads him to have to lie and cover some things up.

When it comes to the kids, Will is back from the Upside Down, but as the last scene in season one shows, he's still dealing with what "some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder," according to co-creator Matt Duffer.  A new pair of siblings come to town, providing a love interest with Max and a new villain in Billy.  All the while, the kids involved in last season's drama are trying to grapple with losing friends and somehow moving on.

Season two of "Stranger Things" hits Netflix on Halloween.
