In the words of Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web, that’s “some pig!”
A hefty porker, now named Wally, made a daring escape on a high-speed interstate in a last-ditch bid to avoid the slaughterhouse.
The pig was en route to his fate at a slaughter house in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Like most pigs, he was reared to a certain size and then sold on to be butchered for food.
He was packed into an 18-wheeler full of livestock, destined to end up on someone’s plate.
Instead, Wally took inspiration from animals like the brave goat who broke free from a Queens butcher and ended up rescued by the NYPD.
