Do You Rinse Your Meat Before You Cook It? Here’s Why You Should Stop

Do you wash your meat before cooking it?  The U.S. Department of Agriculture only has 2 simple rules for safe meat consumption:

1- Make sure when you're cooking your meats that the internal temperature is at least 165 degrees.

2 - When working with raw meat, always wash your hands after touching the meat and juices.
