New Mom Becomes Quadruple Amputee and Blames Hospital

She went to a hospital complaining of "sharp, distinct, abdominal pain" just days after giving birth.  She claims doctors blamed constipation without examining her.

Then she headed home, only to come back the next day, per the Canadian Press. Doctors did not blame constipation this time. She had to go immediately into surgery after experiencing secondary septic shock and organ failure throughout her body, reports the Washington Post

Months later, she is still in the hospital following a hysterectomy and amputations of all four limbs—an outcome she attributes to doctor negligence.  She has since filed a lawsuit. Eventually she was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis, a flesh-eating disease.
