One of my FAVORITE couples in Country Music is... or, sadly, was... Morgan Evans and Kelsea Ballerini. I have had the honor of being around both of them multiple times and they each completely lit up when talking about the other. So I gotta say that I was completely in shock when I heard the news last month that they were divorcing.
And now after hearing this song, I gotta wonder if Morgan was also in complete shock to find out he would be getting a divorce. While in his native Australia, Morgan sang a brand new song that, one would guess, is about his split with Kelsea. You'll notice the crowd was nearly silent while he poured his heart out with lyrics like "How long have you been waiting to take our pictures down, How long have you been breaking, why am I just finding out, How many times did you tell me you loved me if it wasn't true, I'm just wondering, how long has it been over for you?" And then the ending... oh my gosh, so sad...
