As we told you previously, “The Facts of Life” star Charlotte Rae passed away earlier this month, and now her cause of death has been revealed. According to her death certificate, the actress died from cardiac arrest, although carcinoma of the right parotid gland, a.k.a. salivary gland cancer, as well as, metabolic acidosis, were contributing factors.
Rae was 92 at the time of her death. Last year she revealed that she had been diagnosed with bone cancer.
