Before you wake up and cook your morning sausage, you might want to check the date on it first.
Jimmy Dean announced that there is a recall on more than 29,000 lbs of frozen ready to eat pork sausage. This announcement was made on Monday by the USDA after multiple complaints were made that there were pieces of metal in their products.
No injuries have been reported of this yet but the USDA specifies to stay away from the 23.4 oz bag of “Jimmy Dean HEAT ’n SERVE Original SAUSAGE LINKS Made with Pork & Turkey" with a use by date of January 31st, 2019.
