How To Sift Through Your Old Clothes

It’s a challenge weeding old clothing out of your closet.

Some pieces we become attached to, some we hope to fit in to someday, and some just need to stay.  If your closet needs a purging there are some guidelines that will help you let go.  We’ll start with the six month rule . . . if you haven’t worn it for that long, out it goes.

Here’s how else to know when to pitch old clothes.

  • Worn beyond repair
  • You haven’t worn them in over a year.
  • It’s too trendy
  • You don’t love it
  • It’s uncomfortable
  • It doesn’t fit your lifestyle
  • It still has the tags on it

Don’t forget to donate gently used items.
