A Man Crashes Into His Own Home After Police Chase

Never use balloons as an excuse not to pull over when the police are flashing their lights behind you. That seemed lost on a man from Nashua, New Hampshire who led police on a chase through the city at around 3:30 in the morning. The man had a car stuffed with balloons and when police saw the car, they tried to stop him. The car didn't have any lights on and was traveling at a high rate of speed. Troopers spotted the car and attempted to pull the car over, but the driver, later identified as 20-year-old William Riley, sped up as he tried to flee police. Police eventually caught up with him after he crashed his car into his own garage. He tried to flee into his house but officers were able to catch him before he could. William is facing several charges including reckless operation and disobeying an officer. He is scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment on September 3.
