A veterinarian with a keen eye has helped one of his patients walk better.
Dr. Matt Quillen saw Jenny the Duck at the Rocky Top Veterinary Clinic in Tennessee and noticed her legs turned inward when she walked. It turned out she has bumblefoot and had developed some sores. So, he created custom orthopedic shoes for the duck out of kitchen mats.
"I wear Crocs, those are my shoes of choice and they always aggravate me around here," the animal doctor said. "So I said, 'I'm going to make Jenny like me and we will put her in some 'Quacks.'"
