A teenage boy who has been a "picky eater" all his life has gone deaf and blind because of it. The 17 year old's specialists say he suffers from a rare eating disorder-ARFID- avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder. People with AFRID become sensitive to taste, smell, and texture of certain foods. His diet was: french fries, potato chips, white bread and processed meat. That was all he ate for about 10 years. And now he's gone blind and deaf and there's nothing they can do for him. His parents brought him to the doctor when he was 14 because he was suffering from fatigue, but he went undiagnosed. His hearing loss started when he was 15, and now his hearing is gone and he's legally blind.
