Firefighters Rescue Dog Trapped In Bahamas After Hurricane

Firefighters from Florida working in the Bahamas with relief efforts after Hurricane Dorian have rescued a dog who was trapped under a collapsed house. A crew from Gainesville Fire Rescue found the dog in the rubble and debris and worked hard to get him out.

The firefighters posted a video on Facebooo of the rescue in Central Abaco that shows them lifting up a collapsed wall where the dog had been stuck for an unknown amount of time. The video then shows a firefighter come out from the debris with the dog in his arms. This lucky pooch has been handed over to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, but Gainesville Fire Rescue says one of their firefighters is now trying to adopt the pup and bring him home.
