Man Told Police He Didn't Think They Could Catch Him In His 2002 Acura

Police in Indiana were led on a 140 mile per hour chase last week after a trooper was sitting on the side of the highway and clocked a 2002 Acura traveling at 116 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone. The driver increased his speed as the trooper pulled out to catch up with the Acura. The Acura sped up to 140 miles per hour, and it began weaving in and out of traffic even though the traffic was light. He passed cars on the outside shoulder on two separate occasions. The car finally came to stop and the driver, Dino Lorenzo Gagliano was taken into custody. Dino said he was worried about his license, but was shocked that the police cruisers were able to keep up with his 2002 Acura. He was arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, speeding, unsafe lane movement, and failure to signal lane changes.
