Cheerleader Jumps Off Parade Float To Save Kid

A high school cheerleader in Rockwall, Texas saved a child’s life while she was in the middle of a parade. Tyra Winters was on a float during the Rockwall High School homecoming parade when she noticed a mom yelling “help!” because her son was choking on a piece of candy.

Tyra sprang into action, jumping off the moving float and running over to help. She tilted the boy down, gave him a few thrusts on the back until he stopped choking. Now her school and community are cheering her courage and kindness..
