Car Seats In Italy Required To Have Alarm To Prevent Forgetting Kids

There’s a huge problem of children dying in hot cars after being forgotten in their car seats and now Italy has come up with a fix to prevent it from happening there. Parents of young children in Italy are now being required to equip car seats with alarm devices that go off if the kid is left behind.

The devices have to emit both audio and visual signals that can be noticed both inside and outside the car when the child is left inside. It will be required for car seats for little ones younger than four and violators could face fines of up to $360 and losing points on their driver’s license if they don’t comply.
