A little over a week ago, Garth Brooks and TrishaYearwood sang together for an “Inside Studio G” concert on Facebook Live, and so many people tuned in that CBS asked them to do it again for a special that aired last night on the network.
The one hour-concert, “Garth & Trisha Live,” was made up of fan requests. They opened with “We Shall Be Free,” followed by “The River.” Other songs performed include Garth’s “Wrapped Up In You,” “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” “Standing Outside The Fire,” “The Dance,” and “She’s Tired of Boys.”
Trisha’s tunes included “She’s In Love With The Boy,” and “I’ll Carry You Home,” and the pair teamed up for their duet “Whiskey to Wine”
They even tackled a few covers, with Trisha performing FleetwoodMac’s “Landslide,” Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” “If It Hadn’t Been For Love” (which was covered by many but written by ChrisStapleton) and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” while Garth sang Bob Seger’s “Main Street,” and like their previous concert they covered the “Star Is Born” track “Shallow” together.
And the concert was for a good cause, with CBS donating $1 million to charities combating the COVID-19 virus.
