Officers mentally prepare for the calls they take, but there was no way to do so for one dispatch.
Officers from the Richmond Police department, in California, were sent on a call for a possible in-progress burglary at a city corporation yard.
It ended up being a dozen raccoons fighting. They jokingly said one raccoon stuck around, after the fight was broken up, to let officers know it was just a family dispute. The lone critter had its hand up.
