The Doomsday Clock Has Moved 10 Seconds Forward

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists moved the hands of the symbolic Doomsday Clock ten seconds forward yesterday, from 100 seconds to 90 seconds to midnight. It's the closest the clock has been to "symbolic doom" since it was created more than 75 years ago to convey the threats facing humanity. The website states that the clock has moved forward “largely because of the mounting dangers in Ukraine.”
