El Paso Zoo Will Name A Cockroach After Your Ex For Valentine's Day

Heading into Valentine's Day single?

Get yourself a present for Valentine's Day this year thanks to the El Paso Zoo. The Zoo will name a cockroach after your ex and then feed it to a meerkat LIVE on Facebook. Right now you can message the zoo on Facebook with your ex's name... Then February 14th you can watch the roach get eaten during their "Quit Bugging Me" meerkat event that will be live-steamed on Facebook and the zoo's website. The names will be shared around the meerkat exhibit and on social media starting on February 11th. The zoo says it's "the perfect Valentine's Day gift."

"This is a fun way to get the community involved in our daily enrichment activities," El Paso Zoo event coordinator Sarah Borregotold CBS News. "The meerkats love to get cockroaches as a snack and what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than by feeding them a cockroach named after your ex!"

Will you participate in this new way of getting back at your ex? Let us know in the comments!
