Shenandoah will be releasing their new album “Every Road” on November 13th, featuring a bunch of A-list friends and now they’ve released one of the songs. The band has shared he new song “If Only,” a collaboration with Ashley McBryde.
Marty Raybon tells “Rolling Stone,” “She put the ‘Gen’ in genuine. Watching her sing in the studio was listening to a true purist.”
And it sounds like Ashley was more than happy to lend her voice to the song. “‘Would you like to sing with Shenandoah on their new record?’ It didn’t even take a whole second for me to say yes. I’m a true fan of the band and Mr. Raybon’s bluegrass stuff, too. I jumped at the chance to sing with him,” Ashley says. “I love this song… the message is so relevant and needed right now.”
