YouTubers are making big bucks these days, “Forbes” latest Highest-Paid YouTube Stars list reveals a kid once again raked in the most dough in 2020. Ryan “Ryan’s World” Kaji– just nine years old – has topped the list for the third year in a row.
Kaji is beloved by 41-million subscribers and counting for his fun, family-friendly content about toys, games, education and clothes. He managed to make nearly $30-million this year – which “Forbes” notes comes mostly from “licensing deals for more than 5,000 Ryan’s World products – and rake in over 12-billion views on his videos this year.
Kaji has bested adult colleagues like Mr. Beast, David Dobrik and Jeffree Star. Check out the whole list HEREand see the Top Ten below (along with their take!).
- Ryan Kaji ($29.5-million) –His DIY science experiments, toy reviews, and family story times vids have helped him rack up over 5,000 licensing deals.
- Beast/Jimmy Donaldson ($24M) –His stunt/humor videos are why his following now boasts close to 48-million subscribers.
- Dude Perfect ($23M) –These guys have hit over 57-million subscribers having mass fun with Nerf guns, light sabers, paint balls, and anything else they can have entertaining amounts of enjoyment with.
- Rhett & Link ($20M) –The duo started making hilarious local commercials, and they’ve transformed their brand into “Good Mythical Morning” – a nerdy, fun talk show that’s resulted in a company that employs 100 people.
- Markiplier/Mark Fischbach ($19.5M) –His video game breakdowns have gained him 28-million subscribers.
- Preston Arsement ($19M) –He’s turned “Minecraft” into his own personal gold mine.
- Nastya/Anastacia Radzinskaya ($18.5M)– She’s a six-year-old Russian who’s become an institution by playing Legos with her dad, doing chores, and explaining viruses. She’s also now getting into licensing deals and have 3-million followers on TikTok.
- Blippi/Stevin John ($17M)– He’s the only “adult creating kids’ content” on the list, and now he’s branched out into a line of products that’ve hit big box retailers.
- David Dobrik ($15.5M)– He’ll stop short of nothing to get a laugh, whether is the “car wash in a convertible” gag or giving someone a full-body shave…and his 18 million subscribers seem to really enjoy it.
- Jeffree Star ($15M)– The “beauty star” isn’t without controversy, but that didn’t stop him from hitting over a billion views over the past year…and then there’s his successful make-up line.
