If you’re someone who thinks there’s no such thing as too much caffeine in the morning, Dunkin’ has just created the perfect drink for you.
The coffee and doughnut giant just added a new drink to the menu that’s guaranteed to perk you up in the morning. Dunkin’s Extra Charged Coffee features 20% more caffeine, thanks to green coffee extract, although they promise it has the “same great taste” as their regular coffee. As an incentive to get folks to try it, Dunkin is offering a medium Extra Charged Coffee for $2 through January 26th.
And that’s not the only additions for the New Year. Dunkin is also adding two new hot coffees to the menu. They include:
- Dunkin Midnight - described as the chain’s darkest roast ever, featuring “a rich, smooth, full-bodied flavor, rounded out with notes of decadent cocoa and an intensely dark finish."
- Explorer Batch– a new blend introduced as part of Dunkin’s new Limited Batch Series. It features beans from Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Sumatra, and has “dark berry notes, rounded out with a smoky finish.”
Dunkin is also adding a new food item to the menu, the new Dunkfetti Donut, a cake donut with celebration confetti sprinkles baked inside, and topped with a sweet glaze.
