The Grand Ole Opry’s 95th anniversary will be celebrated with a new TV special airing on NBC next month. "Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music,” hosted by Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley, will air February 14th.
The special will celebrate the history of the country music institution, looking at the past, present and future of the weekly Nashville concerts. There will also archival footage of performances from the past nine decades, as well as interviews and more.
Several country stars are expected to perform their biggest hits, although so far a lineup hasn’t been announced.
