The NFL Is Giving Vaccinated Healthcare Workers Free Super Bowl Tickets

There will be thousands of healthcare workers going to the Super Bowl for free.

The NFL announced this morning that 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers will be invited to the Super Bowl as a thank you for their service on the front line.

In a news release, Roger Goodell says "These dedicated health care workers continue to put their own lives at risk to serve others, and we owe them our ongoing gratitude. This is also an opportunity to promote the importance of vaccination and appropriate health practices, including wearing masks in public settings."

All 32 NFL clubs will select a handful of health care workers from their own communities for an all-expense-paid trip to Tampa, though most of those chosen will be from the Tampa area.

Super Bowl LV is set to take place Sunday, February 7, at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium. It will air on CBS.
