Dear Globetrotter Fans,
We hope that all of our loyal fans have stayed safe and healthy as we work through the challenges caused by Covid-19. Since postponing our original event date on March 19, 2020 and re-scheduling twice to March 2, 2021, we have stayed in constant touch with our partners at the Harlem Globetrotters and Shenandoah University.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 challenges and current health and safety guidelines set forth by public health officials, the decision has been made to postpone the event once more from March 2, 2021 to Monday, August, 30, 2021.
Based on the recent news of the vaccine continuing to be administered to those in our community and around the nation, we are confident that this will be our last postponement and the event will take place on August 30th.
We applaud our partners at Shenanodah University for the great work they are doing in setting up the Wilkins Athletics and Events Center as a mass vaccination site for our community. We look forward to celebrating their work during an exciting event with the Globetrotters on August 30th.
For all ticket holders, your previously purchased tickets will carry over and apply to the new date. You don’t need to contact anyone or do anything at this time, but hold on to your tickets as we approach the new event date. Ticket holders that are unable to attend the new August 30th date may request a ticket refund by contacting the event organizer via information provided through the Eventbrite site.
We appreciate your continued patience as we’ve worked through these challenging times. We remain committed to delivering a 1st class entertainment event to the Winchester community and appreciate all of your support in our efforts to do so.
