General Motors isn't promising, but the U.S. auto giant says it "aspires" to have an all-electric vehicle lineup by 2040.
GM also said yesterday that it is aiming for all of its cars, light trucks, and SUVs to be zero-emission by 2035. A GM spokesman said the company's global plan for zero-emission vehicles includes heavy-duty pickups by 2040.
As for being carbon neutral, the company is also shooting for 2040.
