The annual Lyrid meteor shower of bright, fast meteors is expected to hit its peak early tomorrow morning in the pre-dawn hours. Sky watchers can expect to see ten to 15 meteors per hour.
Tonight may be a good time to watch, but the moon’s brightness may get in the way. Give it a shot anyway!
The good news is, much of the nation should have clear skies for viewing the Lyrid meteor shower.
